Wilson Technologies warns dealer before Michigan Automobile Dealers Association fax is issued.
Southfield, Michigan, November 2003 c Avis Ford in Southfield, Michigan was a satisfied user of the Wilson Technologies identity authentication, fraud prevention and customer relationship management system. This satisfaction increased dramatically in November when a customer asked to test drive a conversion van. When the salesperson ran his license through the Wilson Technologies system it revealed a fraud warning. The sales manager asked for registration papers from the vehicle that the customer drove to the store before allowing him to take an unaccompanied test drive. The customer walked to his vehicle and never returned. The next day a fraud warning fax from the Michigan Automobile Dealers Association arrived at the dealership naming the conversion van customer and advising dealers to be on their guard.
Wilson Technologies was able to protect Avis Ford from the almost certain loss of an expensive conversion van and, perhaps more importantly, protected the sales person from potential harm.
Wilson Technologies SRR2100™ system protects local dealer from the loss of a $40,000 car.
Dearborn, Michigan, May 2003 — Shortly after installing the identity authentication equipment and process provided by Wilson Technologies, a man with a Virginia driver’s license came into the Superior Nissan store on Michigan Avenue in Dearborn and began discussing the purchase of a Nissan 350 Z. After getting approval for “nothing down” financing on the car, he was close to driving away when the F&I manager tried to authenticate the customer’s identity using the Wilson Technologies SRR2100™. The system came back with a warning, so the customer was asked to show additional ID. At this point the customer ran from the store leaving his fake driver's license behind.
Needless to say, Superior Nissan and sister Superior Pontiac – Buick – GMC stores are very satisfied Wilson Technologies customers.
